Big day - I guess

And I am nervous.  Last time I saw the Retinal Specialist, the doc said the cataract was getting to the point he couldn't see the retina.  SO - I see the ophthalmologist today - in about an hour.

I cerebrally know it will be fairly painless, and I will be happy with the results.  I know I haven't got a lot to lose.  I do still have vision, but it is like looking through waxed paper that has been smeared with vaseline.   But it IS surgery.  On my eye.

I totally understand and that is the perfect description for it. Sometimes I find myself moving my head trying to look around it. Will he be the one to do the surgery, or will he send you to someone else? Praying here.

Do it ASAP. It is like a miracle. No pain and you will walk out seeing again. Go for the implants if the Dr. Suggests it.

But I warn you.... you have to go home and clean your house. You’ll see things you can’ believe are there. Everybody I know, who has had it done, said the same thing. Good luck.
